Here are a few tips to remember:
- Apple decide which apps can be published. This is called the review process. An app is submitted to Apple, and in around a week they test that it works, and doesn't contain anything offensive or otherwise against their terms and conditions. If all is ok, your app will appear. If not they'll reject the app, and you'll have to submit, and wait around a week for a review again. We suggest leaving at least two weeks between finishing an app and needing it to be live on the app store.
- If you want to make an update, the update will be reviewed also. The wait for a review for an update is also around a week.
- To publish under your own company name you'll need to use an Apple Mac computer. This is Apple's policy, not ours. If this is a problem, then we can upload it for you if you are happy to share your iTunes Connect username and password with us (we keep them safe).
When you are ready to publish we'll be asking you for a few details about your app:

Choose from the same list as the primary category. You cannot choose the same category for both your Primary and Secondary categories. |

Review notes |
This field is visible only to the App Review team and should be used to give them any instructions on using the app you think may not be obvious from the description. If your app requires a user login, then you must create a demo account for Apple with full access to the app for the purposes of reviewing your app. Include the login details here. If your app works only in a specific location, then we recommend uploading a video of your App in action to YouTube, and pasting the link in here. |
This app is designed to be used in Bristol, UK using GPS. However, all the content is available via the 'Browse' menu so you can try it out from anywhere. |
Support URL |
You will need to provide the URL of a web page where people who are having trouble with your app can contact you. This can be to your own website (make sure there's an email address or form where they can email you) or to a forum of some kind. Note: Your app will be rejected if you do not provide a working link. |
We'll also need some images from you:

HI I've tried to submit my app but apparently it requires a 120x120 icon. I can make this easily but how should I submit it?
The message I got was "Missing recommended icon file - The bundle does not contain an app icon for iPhone / iPod Touch of exactly '120x120' pixels, in .png format."
Thanks
Tom
Hi Tom,
This is down to the new iOS7 system, and we're not currently support the new iOS7 icon - but the app will use the existing iOS6 specifications anyway, so you don't need to do anything further.
Hope that helps
